Paul has successfully undertaken a wide range of corporate advisory assignments in the domestic and international arena, and has over 15 years experience on corporate finance company boards, including KPMG Corporate Finance, PWC Corporate Finance and BDO Kendalls Corporate Finance.
Paul specialises in merger and acquisition advice in the private and public sectors – specifically, value and transaction process management. He also has experience in purchase price allocations for business combinations, intangible asset valuations, investment evaluation and cost of capital assessments that include international and cross-border transactions.
- Paul’s advisory experience includes:
- Asset valuation for an international airport authority, including airport and airstrip infrastructure as well as land, equipment and rights to charge for landing and overhead flights.
- Valuation of a super fund’s interest in a Victorian aged-care facility, including risk allocation within the operating and financial structure of the project.
- Valuation of a fibre optic network business for taxation purposes.
- Valuation of a channel asset for its transfer between two ports.
- Project management of the sale of an overseas state-owned national telecommunications carrier.
- PNG Regulatory Regime Review to investigate the changes required in order to accommodate private sector operators in the airline, telecommunications, electricity, ports and water sectors.
