Patrick has over 15 years experience in strategy consulting and the financial markets, including roles with LEK Consulting, the KBA Consulting Group and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Patrick’s work has seen him provide advice to top 50 ASX listed companies, private companies and start-ups across a range of areas including strategy development, market positioning, mergers & acquisitions, business planning, operational improvement, portfolio analysis and performance management.
Patrick has experience in a number of industries, including mining, heavy industry, building materials, airlines, travel and tourism, public transport, electricity distribution and information technology.
- Patrick’s advisory experience includes:
- Leading the development of performance measures linked to operational plans for two key divisions of a transportation company in Singapore.
- Developing a global strategy for a key division of a major Australian chemicals company.
- Managing the commercial due diligence for a construction materials company considering an acquisition in a downstream sector.
- Managing a project in which a consortium of three consulting firms developed a strategy for a group of four transport companies, with combined revenues of $350m pa.
- Managing a Value-Based Management implementation and strategy development project for a major coal and energy company based in Thailand.
- Assisting a start-up organisation in the graphic glass industry to negotiate a licensing agreement with a large US multi-national.
- Valuing, assessing and marketing potential investment opportunities within the Gold sector.
