Justin is a Corporate Adviser and has over ten years of experience in both domestic and international environments.
Experience
Justin’s advisory experience includes:
- Valuation advice to over 50 top global fund managers (long-only and hedge funds) in Europe and the US covering:
– Market implied ROI analysis of equities
– Key economic adjustments to ROI
– Accounting issues impacting valuation
– M&A and other corporate actions
– Credit analysis - Complex valuation modelling in the Paper & Packaging sector to support a multi-site $350m reinvestment decision.
- Development of a structural credit risk option pricing model for a large electricity distributor.
- Valuations for the purposes of M&A advice in the Insurance, Agriculture and Defence sectors.
- Commercial due diligence for highly successful PE investment in Mining Services, Technology and Agriculture.
- Assessment of the cost of capital for numerous businesses across industry sectors.
Professional back ground
- Justin has 10 years experience in investment banking, strategic consulting and commercial roles. He has focused on applying company valuation and performance measurement (value creation measures such as CFROI) to listed equity analysis, strategy development and mergers and acquisitions.
- Most recently Justin spent 3.5 years as Vice President in Credit Suisse’s HOLT Valuation & Advisory business in London where he advised some of the world’s largest long-only and hedge fund investors on the valuation of stocks in the Telecoms, IT, Media and Healthcare sectors.
- Prior to this, Justin worked with Dr Steven Bishop as Consultant at Mainsheet Corporate delivering large strategic and valuation engagements covering Paper & Packaging, Insurance, Mining Services, Telecoms, Agriculture, Transport and Defence Industries, including reviews on behalf of private equity clients.
