Founder and Director
Steven is a valuation and corporate finance expert. He holds a PhD written in corporate finance and has taught, studied and worked in the area for over 35 years. Steven also has 20 years as a full time consultant in strategy, corporate finance, shareholder value creation and valuations. His prior experience includes an executive director with Mainsheet Corporate, partner with LEK Consulting and senior manager with Marakon Associates and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

- Steven’s experience in business valuation covers a wide range of industries, including:

- Infrastructure (electricity retailing, distribution and transmission; gas distribution, waste water and PPPs)

- Transport (road, rail, shipping)
In addition to his significant consulting experience, Steven has a strong academic background in corporate finance as a university and business school lecturer, as co-author of major studies into the value effects of M&A activity and of "Corporate Finance" - a text widely used in Australian and New Zealand universities. Steven continues his academic teaching with the Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre across Australia and South-East Asia.
